Differentiation

Pupils needing extra support: May need help in drawing the large numbers. Provide them with templates or stencils to draw around or a broken line as a guide for them to follow. They may need some visual aids to remind them of the colour theory.

Pupils working at greater depth: Will see the connection between their own work and the artist and have ability in mixing and applying their colours to the painting. They will understand the colour theory and show this in their competent mixing of the secondary colours.
